If you are staying in Sedona, your day begins with a scenic and narrated ride from the Red Rocks of Sedona to Flagstaff. You will travel through Oak Creek Canyon, named one of the top 10 scenic drives in the US, then through the towering Ponderosa Pines.  After picking up customers staying in Flagstaff, the vehicle will travel past the dormant volcanoes that make up the San Francisco Peaks and through Navajo Nation.  While on your journey, receive informative and entertaining narration about the areas you pass through from your experienced and knowledgeable local tour guide.  Travel through the Navajo Reservation as your guide shares stories of this ancient culture, and information about the unique geology and vistas along the way. Once you make it across the Navajo Reservation, you will have time to walk out on the unpaved path to see Horseshoe Bend, an iconic viewing vista.  Then, continue to be dazzled by the views at Glen Canyon Dam and the southernmost point of Lake Powell. Upon arrival in Page, Arizona, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, meet your Navajo guide for a spectacular tour of Antelope Canyon at the Canyon X site. Take advantage of many photo opportunities as you watch the angle of the sun changing inside the canyon.  Walk with the Navajo through the curves of this red rock slot canyon. You might even hear the sounds of flute music echo off the canyon walls.  After your tour, you'll begin your return trip from Antelope Canyon. You'll pass by the western edge of the Painted Desert as you re-cross the Navajo Reservation for a brief stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel.

From the South Rim, gaze 14 miles across to the North Rim. You will also visit the only point where you can see both Phantom Ranch as well as the Kaibab Suspension Bridge. Enter the heart of Antelope Canyon and visit Horseshoe Bend, where you can peer off the edge at the mighty Colorado River. Leave Flagstaff in the morning and travel the Arizona and Utah border to visit Antelope Canyon. With the help of your Navajo Partner Guides, spend time walking through Antelope Canyon. From there, travel just a few miles to the Glen Canyon Dam visitors center for a quick picnic lunch and some great views of Lake Powell. For the finale, head to the famous Horseshoe Bend overlook before returning to Flagstaff in the evening.

Then, head into the surrounding desert to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross and get panoramic views of Sedona's red rock formations, including Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and Cathedral Rock. Depart Sedona in the late afternoon and drive to Page for your overnight stay at Clarion Inn. Day 2: Monument Valley – Horseshoe Bend Head into Monument Valley to discover one of the Iconic symbols of the American West. Venture deep into the heart of the autonomous Navajo Nation, where the sandstone rocks tower from 400 to 1,000 feet (up to 300 meters) tall. Marvel at the near-vertical mesa buttes and see indigenous shrubs and trees. Take a jeep tour led by a member of the Navajo tribe, and go down into the valley to experience firsthand why they call this land “like no other place on earth.” Then, head to the mighty Colorado River. Visit Horseshoe Bend for a spectacular view, unique to the region. Continue to Lake Powell for your overnight stay at the Clarion Inn in Page. Day 3: Friday Antelope Canyon – Valley of Fire – Las Vegas Start the day where “the water runs through the rocks” as per the local Navajo folklore. Tour the Antelope Canyon and visit the spectacular dunes created by the wind, water, and sand; there are no words to aptly describe these formations created by Mother Nature. After the tour, depart this amazing area and start making your way back to Las Vegas, along the way stopping for a lunch break and then visiting the “Valley of Fire,” named for the magnificent red sandstone formations created from shifting sands and dunes during the age of the dinosaurs more than 150 million years ago. The visit is timed to be able to see the appearance of the valley being on “fire” when reflecting the powerful sun’s rays into the valley (weather permitting). Depart the Park for an early evening arrival in Las Vegas.

Learn how his tiny settlement at the base of the San Francisco Peaks sprouted saloons and gambling halls (and a few merchandising stores) almost overnight once a railroad was installed. Hear stories of how the town avoided the fate of many a railroad boom town because of the foresight of businessmen like E.E. Ayer, who opened the town's saw mill just weeks after the first train ran through. The mill gave steady employment for men and their families and soon, churches, schools, and mercantile ventures sprang up. Walk to locations where many a colorful character from the past was known to wander the town, looking for a gun fight or a game of poker to pass their time — perhaps even staying around to haunt these spots today.
