Bus trip in a small van for a small group but plenty of room. Trip to horseshoe bend and antelope canyon with a stopover at an Indian reservation trading post. The landscape along the way is very scenic, both destinations are magnificent and definitely a must see. Antelope canyon is not for someone with mobility issues and walk to the horseshoe viewing area is about 10 min. Best to go these places in the cooler months. The guides ( specially EDER- our guide) at antelope canyon are awesome and very helpful. The day trip was well worth it.

Full description

Spend a day visiting 2 of the most iconic landscapes in the American Southwest: Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Enter the heart of Antelope Canyon and visit Horseshoe Bend, where you can peer off the edge at the mighty Colorado River.

Leave Flagstaff in the morning and travel the Arizona and Utah border to visit Antelope Canyon. With the help of your Navajo Partner Guides, spend time walking through Antelope Canyon.
From there, travel just a few miles to the Glen Canyon Dam visitors center for a quick picnic lunch and some great views of Lake Powell. For the finale, head to the famous Horseshoe Bend overlook before returning to Flagstaff in the evening.

My children and I were commuting across the country to attend a family gathering, so this day off from driving was a welcomed treat. Our guided tour to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon was a great day. The staff at Get Your Guide were organized, friendly, and communicated well. The meeting location was clean and easy to find. Our guide, Jason, was a safe driver, and he was personable, attentative, and well versed in the landscape and historical aspects of the Navajo Tribe. I highly recommend him as your guide. The sandwich lunch was substantial and yummy and Jason had snacks and cold refreshments throughout the entire day.
