Day 1Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga
Join a camel trek into the desert
Depart from Fes
Begin your journey with a hotel pickup from Fes and travel to the Merzouga desert. Stop along the way at a number of enjoyable destinations.
Admire the local scenery at iconic spots
Firstly, stop at Ifrane, the alpine-style town home to ski slopes. Secondly, visit the cedar forests situated in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains to observe and feed the Barbary monkeys.
Take a break in Midelt
Stop to purchase lunch in Midelt, then carry on through the lush green Ziz Valley and make a last stop in Erfoud.
Join a camel trek into the desert
Upon arrival in Merzouga, transfer to the hotel to store your luggage. The camels will be waiting for you for a camel trekking experience (around 45 minutes) to enjoy the sunset on camelback as you ride to nomad tents where you will have dinner under the starry sky with a Berber folklore show. Spend the night at the camp.
