Overall rating
easy parking near the monastery. It is imperative to print the tickets (possible in Worten stores for example) because they are stamped manually 2 or 3 times in different places! the monastery is beautiful but unfortunately no more audio guide since COVID. not even a QR code to scan with your mobile to have the soundtrack! too bad
Batalha Monastery is an incredible site that is absolutely worth the drive out to see. The tickets were extremely easy to use, but do be sure to print them. Our hotel printed them for us with no trouble. It’s lovely to walk around self-guided so that we could take our time and explore at our own pace.
Exceptional quality of finish. The monument seems to be in poor condition from the outside but is extraordinary from the inside. They are doing renovation work that does not disturb the visit. For lovers of detail, I recommend this visit.
Payment method needs to be improved. GYG had trouble processing my credit card to allow for payment. Multiple chats have been needed to resolve all my issue
I really liked the old architecture, its grandeur.
