What People Are Saying About Fatima
Lots of scenic places around in the tour. We have a great time on this private tour with Ricarto Melo. He was right on time to pick us up from the hotel. He was great at explaining everything we visited. He is very good in history! We conversed with him all day long and didn't feel awkward being on a private tour at all. Lunch at the local restaurant was awesome. If you're a food/wine lover, Ricarto would be your perfect guide to introduce Portuguese cuisine and its wine pairing.
Absolutely fantastic trip from Lisbon to Fatima. The three stops on the way provided great breaks to the otherwise tedious bus ride. The included 3 course lunch was excellent. Spacious clean modern restaurant with plenty of food, wine and dessert. The menu was obviously seafood based and nothing fancy but the taste and abundance made up for this. Very helpful guide who was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended
Not bad for the price, we managed to visit 4 cities in a day. Tiago was well-informed and he even managed to take us in the main store in Fatima, take us to an exceptionally good restaurant! We were 6 in the group, and all of us had a great time, it's an experience to remember!
Amazing trip! I would highly recommend Fatima to the Catholics and to spend more time there. This trip only allowed us 2 hours of which most time was spent waiting for other passengers' shopping leaving less time for the Fatima sanctuary. Lessons learnt is to manage expectations of all passengers so that time is not wasted on waiting for others. Rest of other places such as Bathalha and Obidos are beautiful.
Each site has a special historical and Geographic interest. While Obidos was the most charming, Fatima a holy site (like Santiago de Compostela in Spain, Lourdes in France), I thought Nazare the most beautiful (like a simpler Cascais with more coastline drama).
