Santo Domingo is the main historical and cultural site of the Dominican Republic. Nearby is El Conde Street, a pedestrian walkway with a wide variety of shops where you can buy souvenirs for your return to Punta Cana. We always recommend our customers bring cash for these purchases. This tour, although very urban, also includes nature. In Los Tres Ojos National Park, you can experience what those first explorers like Christopher Columbus or his brother Bartolomé Columbus felt when they arrived at the port and discovered the nature of Hispaniola. Inside, three turquoise water lagoons welcome us to a place that was a settlement of the Taíno people. From here, the path will lead us directly to the hustle and bustle of Santo Domingo, where we will begin our visit to the colonial zone. The first building that will catch your eye will be the Primada de América Cathedral, a symbol of the early steps of the Catholic Church on the island. From there, we can go see the Columbus Lighthouse or the Museum of Modern Art, but the cultural options are countless among its streets.

We were picked up at the hotel and taken to the meeting point. We were told that we should stay in the minivan until the other minivan arrived because it was too hot outside. The guide, Migel, was super nice, friendly and personable. He specifically asked us how well we spoke English. He then said that he would speak slowly so that we could understand. If we had questions or suggestions, he was always there to implement them. The food tasted great. The trip is worth it, you learn a lot of information about the capital and its history.

The one who picked us up arrived a little late and they didn't notify us, the points we visited were good, the one we liked the most was the Three Eyes Caves, the trip is a little tiring since it takes approximately 12 hours from the time they pass through you, until they drop you off at your hotel, when they pick you up, they don't enter the lobby because they aren't allowed, but on the way back if they drop you off there

Lovely day trip, very friendly and knowledgeable guide and driver. Lunch was in a lovely restaurant and a great selection of food and cold drinks. The only negative thing was the ‘gift shops’ we were taken too, even with the 40% discount they were much more expensive than our hotel Gift shop. We would have preferred a 1 hour free time to look around by ourselves.

It was a great trip with an informative guide. The lagoon was beautiful and the cathedral also. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Very good option. The super friendly guide. Very beautiful places. Totally recommended. I went alone and without problems
