Farellones

The tour will start by picking up all customers at their respective hotels and head directly to a stop where you can rent snowwear. After renting your clothes, we will continue climbing the mountain towards the Farellones region where the park is also located. The tour guide will help you enter Farellones park if you have a park ticket or want to buy one at the ticket office. The Transport Car will be available as a support location for any urgent needs. If you don't want to enter Farellones Park, you can exit in the city of Farellones and continue on the panoramic tour. We will start picking up everyone in Farellones 15 hours before the park closes.

The tour will start by picking up all customers from their respective hotels and will go directly to a viewpoint on the mountain. Then you will continue up the mountain towards Valle Nevado to enjoy the mountainous summer climate. The tour guide will help you move around Valle Nevado and take pictures. The Transport van will be available as a support place for any urgent need. After the visit to Valle Nevado, there is a stop in the town of Farellones to see the viewpoint and to participate in the picnic. Afterwards, everyone will be taken back to their hotel.

Your experience begins from your hotel between 7:00AM-8:00AM, from where you head towards the Andes Mountain Range through a 40-bend road. Along the way, take in Santiago from above and breathe the fresh mountain air. At approximately 10:00AM you ascend to 2,700 meters above sea level, where Farellones is located. This area is known as one of the few mountain villages of Chile. Visit the famous center of El Colorado, before continuing your ascent towards Valle Nevado. From there, a further 20 bends in the road remain to reach a prestigious ski center located at 3,000 meters above sea level. This area is the headquarters of important championships such as snowboarding, which are held annually. You are then granted time for lunch, before your return trip to Santiago takes place. Your expected return time to Santiago is approximately 6:00PM.

We pick up at the hotel at the agreed time, we head to the mountain, on the way you can already feel the emotion of being in the Andes, we make a stop at curve 33 for photos, we continue to Valle Nevado, a stop for photos and for you to explore the region, then we go down to farellones photo stop, short walk and picnic with toast at sunset. We will drive through the scenic Andes, arriving at the starting point of our trek. Our expert guide will share insights about the local flora and fauna, as well as the geological features of the area. The trek to Cerro El Pintor is challenging but rewarding, with varied terrain that includes rocky paths and snowfields, depending on the season. After enjoying the summit and taking some memorable photos, we will descend back to our starting point and drive back to Santiago, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel. During the journey, you will also visit the Salto del Soldado viewpoint, a geomorphological formation with rocky walls where the Aconcagua River flows. Legend has it that a patriotic soldier escaped a pursuit by making a great leap at this spot, hence its name. Your trip will continue to the Portillo Ski Center, one of the most renowned in South America and a favorite among professional skiers. Here, you will have the privilege of witnessing the intense blue and crystalline Laguna del Inca, which stands out amidst the white landscape. An ideal spot for capturing unforgettable memories with incredible photos!

*Activity takes place between October and May, depending on weather conditions. We will pick you up at your accommodation, approximately 14:00 hrs, to take the road to Valle Nevado (subject to traffic and weather conditions), 60 km from Santiago. You will see how the landscape changes from the center of the city to the Andes Mountains, leaving behind the buildings and seeing the surroundings. On the way you will make some stops to have contact with the landscape, depending on the weather conditions, the time of the year and the schedule of the itinerary. You will visit the Valle Nevado* ski center to walk around and take pictures of the mountain range. Afterwards, you will visit Farellones, where we will have a sunset toast in the middle of the Andes Mountains. Afterwards, we will meet you for the return to Santiago, where the activity ends.
