Take the chance to stand on your board and understand the fundamentals or practise some sweet new maneouvres. Make your way to the surf camp just by Famara beach and meet your group and expert instructors for the day. Listen to the sound of the sea as you transfer to the best surfing spot on the beach for a 2 or 4-hour lesson. Enjoy a short warm-up and be sorted into your group based on your level. Your experience begins as you hike with the team for 10 minutes to the take-off site. Once there your guides will run you through the safety instructions, fielding any questions which you may have about your impending glide. Following that, prepare to take off with your professional pilot under a tandem paraglider and fly away. This is a vertigo-free takeoff, not a "jump." You'll soar along the reach to gain an altitude of between 150 to 800 meters, cruising above the ocean for about 20 or 40 minutes depending on the chosen option. Enjoy the views of the islands and the volcanoes from the safety of a harness seat. When possible, you can try steering the glider yourself, as well as try some thrilling wingovers or spiraling sensations. The pilot will capture photos and a short video of your flight with an action camera. Your tour will conclude as you descend gradually and land softly. We will launch from one of the various takeoffs on the island, such as Famara, Mala, El cuchillo or Mirador del Río, according to the direction and intensity of the wind. During the flight you can enjoy unique views of the volcanoes, lava malpais and beaches of Lanzarote. You do not need previous experience, the instructor and tandem pilot will give you some indications of what you should do at the moment of takeoff, during the flight and landing. After taking a few steps you will be flying as you have always dreamed !! The whole experience will be recorded and photographed through a camera incorporated to the Hang Glider that will allow to obtain some wonderful panorama view of both the passenger and the unique landscape of Lanzarote.
