Full description

Enjoy a guided tour through the Aurora Ice Museum, which was built with over 1,000 tons of ice and snow and is kept year-round at a temperature of 25F (-7C). Take a tour learning about the multifaceted renewable energy projects, working towards the full self-sustainability of the resort. Soak in the Chena Hot Springs resort’s legendary healing mineral waters. The Chena Hot Springs resort offers the option of eating at their wonderful restaurant (optional and not included in the price) and you can also visit the resort's gift shop for locally made Alaskan art.

Ice museum was down, guide was falling asleep on the trip there, the sled dogs visit was brief and poor, food was expensive and poor, and it was not worth the money. Very disappointing and my refund of the 800 was a few dollars for the museum being down. What a joke

From the time I was picked up from my Hotel to the time I was dropped off, I had a wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The weather was fine and warm. (August 4) The Ice Museum was amazing and the Chena Hot Springs were just what the doctor ordered. I didn't want to leave. We even saw a Moose on our way back to Fairbanks. Absolutely recommend.
