Great guide. Uncomfortable ride

Woild not suggest this tour only due to lack of comfort. Al van is used, and i was last on so got the worst seat..last row. Very bumpy road, no leg room, and getting in and out of the van was not easy. Finally on the way back I insisted on changing seatsand made a huge difference. The guide is a great guy. The tour company changed my tour time, so this tour was very full. 14 hours was too long in this vehicle.

Terrific addition to my Alaska vacation

During my recent visit to Alaska, at the urging of ftiends, I took the Arctic Circle Day Tour with Alaska Wildliffriends, This tour is much more about the road than the destination. The route to the Circle takes you up the famous Dalton Highway, running parallel to the Alaska Pipeline for much of the trip. Dave, our tour guide and driver, is very knowledgeable of the area and kept us entertained through the day as we went from one site to the next. There were ample photo opportunities, as well as the chance to meet local characters of the Alaska wilderness. At the Circle we all had ample photo opportunities while Dave prepared a delicious stew for our lunch. I am a firm believer in package tours when u uou have limited time and want to make the most of it. I hope to return to Alaska during the winter months and would love to do the Northern Lights tour wiyyh these guys. Thanks again.
