Our guide was exceptional—deeply knowledgeable about the region’s history, local flora, activities, dining spots, and of course, wine. We lucked out being the only ones on the tour, which gave us plenty of time to ask questions and dive deeper into everything the area has to offer. Monsaraz was absolutely stunning, and the wine tasting experience in the local tasting room was a true highlight. Portuguese wines are incredibly underrated, and I even discovered the best dessert wine I’ve ever had, which we savored on a rooftop overlooking the breathtaking landscape. All in all, I highly recommend this trip—it was a memorable and enriching experience.
