The hike was very nice. It was a bit challenging but we enjoyed getting out into nature. Pedro and Claudia were great guides. We learned a lot about the area, the Almendres Cromlech and the cork and olive trees. We highly recommend this tour if you enjoy hiking. It was a great way to see the megaliths.

This was a great tour! Pedro my guide knew so much about the area and it was totally different than most tours. You really get entrenched in the area and actually really get to see the landscape of the Alentejo region. It is a true hike through the forest but the path is marked so make sure you wear decent shoes. I really enjoyed the walks through the Cork trees, they are so beautiful and you get to see then up close. This is a hot area and the hiking isn't all flat, there are some steep parts so keep that in mind, but the steepest is right at the begining, so it is over quickly. Overall great recommend for those who love nature, great view and prehistoric landmarks!

Embark on a guided walking tour of the Serra de Valverde, ending at the Almendres Megalithic Complex and the Menhir of Almendres. Enjoy the convenience of round-trip transportation from Montemor or Évora. Start your adventure with a hike of medium to high intensity, covering approximately 8 kilometers through the mountains. Stop at the Castelo do Geraldo and take in the magnificent views of the city of Évora. Continue your journey to the Almendres Megalithic Complex and the Menhir of Almendres. Explore the site with a guided tour of the cromlechs. After your visit, head to a traditional restaurant in Valverde for a meal (at your own expense). Enjoy a snack and water provided for the hike. Finally, visit the Almendres Interpretation Center in Guadalupe.

The hike was very nice. It was a bit challenging but we enjoyed getting out into nature. Pedro and Claudia were great guides. We learned a lot about the area, the Almendres Cromlech and the cork and olive trees. We highly recommend this tour if you enjoy hiking. It was a great way to see the megaliths.
