Explore the wine region and village of Etyek on a guided wine-tasting tour from Budapest. Learn more about the history of wine in the region as you meet local producers, and enjoy a delicious 3-course meal of classic Hungarian flavors. Start with pickup from one of the pickup points in Budapest in an air-conditioned minibus. Relax as you enjoy the journey to the Etyek wine region, located just half an hour outside the city. En route learn about Hungary’s fascinating history and hear about the country’s long and rich wine tradition. After arriving in Etyek village, visit 2 unique wineries, both of which are family-owned boutique wineries. Tour both cellars and taste 4 wines at each, and learn more about the production process as you snack on local appetizers. Finish the day with a rustic, 3-course home-cooked meal. Savor classic Hungarian dishes and discuss your wine discoveries as you enjoy your meal. Afterward, relax on the return journey back to Budapest.

Tasting our items in our vault is a special experience every time! In our press house, up to 20 people have the opportunity to taste the wines of Rókusfalvy Birtok in a pleasant, authentic Etyka environment, within the framework of a 4-item wine tasting, with freshly baked scones served alongside. Our tastings usually last 1-1.5 hours, during which we take a short walk among the vines and in our winery, where you can get an insight into our barrel and champagne cellar as part of our cellar tour. Reservations can be made up to 48 hours before the tasting, reservations received after that are only valid subject to feedback.

The Etyek region is best known for its sparkling wines, and in particular, its Törley champagnes. Fresh, fragrant, and elegant white wines such as Chardonnay, Italian Riesling, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc are also produced here with increasing success. During this 4-hour private tour you’ll visit the village of Etyek and also a winery and wine cellar with a professional guide. You’ll learn about the production process and have the opportunity to try the locally made wines. Learn about Hungarian wine culture and choose a bottle to purchase as a souvenir of your visit. Take a break to enjoy a tasty lunch accompanied by one of the local wines.
