Discover the blue washed town of Chefchaouen on this day trip from Fez. Have time to explore sights like Kasbah Museum and Grand Mosque. Travel in comfortable airconditioned van and have the option of choosing from a group or private tour.  The tour will start with a hotel pickup in Fez. After boarding your private vehicle, make your way to Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains near Tangier. Upon arrival, marvel at the incredible blue walls that make this town famous. Enjoy about 4 hours to explore the picturesque small city streets of the medina. If you opt for the private tour, you have the luxury of deciding how you'd like to spend your time as there are many activities to choose from. You can discover the local shops and cafes and see the main square known as Plaza Uta el-Hammam. To experience some culture you may wish to head to the Kasbah Museum, the Grand Mosque, or the Ethnographic Museum which contains musical instruments, antique weapons, and photographs of the old town. You can also stop off at the Ras Elma river that runs through the old city.  For lunch, you can buy a delicious meal in the square, perched on the roof terrace which offers panoramic views over Chefchaouen (at your own expense). In the late afternoon, you will head back to Fez.

We had a great experience, the trip was as described. the bus journey had a couple of stops to break up the journey. Our bus guide Souka was super helpful and lovely. We then had a different guide for a tour around Chefchaouen for about 50-60 minutes which was great. We then had free time to explore and to have lunch. Overall a great experience

They came to pick us up at our riad. We drove 3 hours to Chefchauen. We arrived there and first had a tour by a guide. The explination of the guide was very poor and her English was bad. But she showed us the most beautiful places of the city. It's a long drive, but it's a 100% worth it.

Great day tour, get sufficient time in Chefchaouen to explore by self or follow the crowd. Distances are long so drive is long with 1-2 short breaks on the way, in peak season several tourist buses follow the same route so expect crowds.

Great place and experience. The guides were pleasant and explained everything!
