Tallinn: Private Walking Tour

Tallinn: Private Walking Tour

No longer living in the shadows of its famous neighbours like Helsinki, Stockholm and St. Petersburg, Tallinn developed a charm of its own. See the heart of Tallinn, the Town Hall Square, and the surrounding open-air market, with vendor stalls, small cafes and souvenir shops. Learn about the 13th-century Holy Spirit Church, one of the oldest in the city. View the City Museum building, originally a home of the 14th century. Take a look at “Fat Margaret”, the nickname of the Estonian Maritime Museum building, and learn how and why it got this name. Admire the Great Coastal Gate, the only medieval defence tower still standing on the defence wall. Learn the legend of St. Olav's Church, and marvel at St. Nevsky Cathedral, the largest Russian Revival-style temple in the city. Walk by Toompea hill, for the best view of the Estonian Government and the Parliament buildings. At Freedom Square, see the monument that honours soldiers who lost their lives during the Estonian War of Independence. The capital of Estonia sure has charm, history and stories to spare!

The Tallinn Card includes entry to a wide variety of attractions in Tallinn. The Seaplane Museum is one of the highlights of Tallinn. Tallinn is a compact city and you can walk to all of the main attractions in the old town. Public transport in Tallinn is also included. The Tallinn Card will get you on the public bus from the airport to the city centre and from the bus station to the city centre. This card is ideal for visiting as many attractions as possible in a short space of time.

I highly recommend getting this if you’re staying for at least two or three days! I was able to use bus system and get into museums without a hassle! Just make sure you check to see that the museums are open when you visit! Mondays usually museums are closed!

Everything perfect, excellent solution for those who intend to fully visit the city. We stayed for two days, so we didn't use transport much since the city and its surroundings can be easily explored on foot.

I could visit almost all the museums in Tallinn and didn't pay anything extra. Without TC it would have cost so much more! Public transport is also included.
