Day 1: Marrakech / Ouarzazate / Rose valley / Merzouga In the Early Morning After meeting you at your hotel in Marrakech we will go toward the High Atlas through the Tizin-Tichka pass, along a road that climbs from the plains up to 2260 m above sea level passing through small villages, small waterfalls, and through the continuously changing landscape and colors of these beautiful mountains. We will go through Ouarzazate, the famous Valley of Roses, and the Dades Valley. After arriving in Merzouga you will find the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Erg-Chebbi, after 20 min you will reach to the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, there will be a campfire and drums playing, and we will listen to the songs of the Berbers, Nomads of Southern Moroccan. Day 2: Merzouga - Rissani - Ziz Valley - Medilt– Fez In the morning you can get up early, take a walk over the sand dunes, and watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50 km from Merzouga. We head back to the hotel, after breakfast, shower, and Rest, we'll start our tour back to Fes, through, Ziz Valley, Berber villages, and the Middle Atlas, we will arrive at Fes in the evening for the end of the trip. Day2: Merzouga/ Marrakech In the morning you can get up early, take a walk over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50 km from Merzouga. You will have some time to get ready and have Breakfast. Then you will depart towards Marrakech Passing through the Famous road of one 1000 Kasbahs & the High Atlas Mountain with few quick stops. We reach Marrakech in the Evening for the End of the Trip around 20h00. Please note that it is a long drive on the first day from Marrakech to the desert camp, can be up to 10 hours. There won't be many long stops on the way in order to make it to the camp before sunset and benefit from the camel ride. We have designed this 2 days desert option, for people who have limited time but still want to visit the desert. For customers who prefer a less rushed experience, we also offer a 3 days version of this tour that is available.

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Tinghir Departure of our 3 days from Marrakech to Fes desert tour, in the morning around 7h30 am, and drive through the Atlas Passes. On the road we will make stops to enjoy the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m). Continuing our trip along little Berber villages and valleys to reach Ait-Benhaddou Kasbah. This fortified walled city was built right on the caravan path between Marrakech and the Sahara and was once a thriving trading post during the 17th century. Inside the high mud walls are 6 Kasbahs and a small number of homes. Ait Benhaddou has appeared in several movies, including Gladiator & Lawrence of Arabia. After lunch and visit of the Kasbah we will drive to Dades though Ouarzazate, famed as the Hollywood of Africa, where we will stop in Kasbah Taourirte. Later drive via palm groves of Skoura and valley of Roses. In the evening reach Tinghir where we will spend the first night, dinner and overnight in a Hotel / or Riad. Day 2: Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg-Chebbi Sand Dunes of Merzouga After a traditional Moroccan breakfast we will start Sahara desert tour . After that we will drive to Tinghir city where we can stop in the stunning Todra valley, lined with Berber villages and palm groves. Then, continuing to Todra Gorge a chilly and natural place with it orange towering cliffs, the canyons of Todra Gorge are almost 1,000 feet deep. Our journey will commence in Fes and take us through Ifrane, a French-built winter ski resort from the 1930s modeled after a Swiss village. As you continue your journey, you will traverse the cedar forest in Azrou and have an opportunity to spot monkeys. Your drive will take you through the Middle Atlas Mountains, characterized by scenic winding roads through forests, springs, rocky terrain, and Berber villages. You will then descend towards the Sahara Desert after a full day of navigating the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. During your trip, you will make a stop for lunch in Midelt, a town renowned for its fossils and rocks. Midelt is located halfway to your destination. After lunch, you will continue your journey towards Merzouga along the road by crossing the Ziz River and passing by towering palm trees and fortified Kasbahs on your way to Erfoud. Once we get to Azrou, you have a great chance to see the Berber monkey groups in the cedar forest. Before we actually reach Fes, we drive to Ifrane. Ifrane is locally known as “Little Switzerland”, a winter ski area, built in a beautiful style by the French.
