    Begin your dolphin and whale spotting expedition by checking in at Walvis Bay Waterfront at 8:30 am. Depart from the Jetty between 8:45 - 9 am. From there you’ll begin your search for Namibia’s marine Big 5. Sip a hot coffee or tea as you approach Pelican Point. Admire its landmark lighthouse and see the 60,000 cape fur seals who live there. If visiting in-season ( from July to November), you'll be able to spot large sea mammals including the Southern Right Whale and the Humpback Whale. If you’re lucky, you may be able to see a gray whale or a pygmy right whale. Observe different species of dolphins including bottlenose, Heaviside's, and dusky dolphins. Keep a lookout for mola molas and leatherback turtles. As you make your expedition, you’ll encounter a variety of seabirds including kelp gulls, Hartlaub’s gulls, and cape cormorant.     3. From Walvis Bay: Half-Day Eco-Friendly Kayak Tour

    Begin with an informative tour of the Walvis Bay Lagoon and salt mines. Learn about the birdlife of the area before reaching Pelican Point Peninsula. Then take a short 4x4 adventure along the beach. Keep your eyes peeled for the Black-Back Jackal population that patrol the shores. The lighthouse indicates the start of the large seal colonies on the beach and in the water. Once the vehicles find a spot to park as to not disturb the colonies, the preparation for kayaking begins. Water-resistant clothing, flotation devices, and dry bags are set out for use while kayaking. The guides will ensure you are correctly dressed and fastened in the flotation devices before starting the safety briefing. Be assisted onto your kayak and launch out onto the water.     4. Spitzkoppe Guided Day Tour

    Your tour starts around 7:30 AM with pick-up from your accommodation in Swakopmund or Walvis Bay. At 8:00 AM depart towards Henties Bay, driving next to the Atlantic ocean, where you'll stop to view a shipwreck. Around 8:30 AM you'll have a stop for a photo opportunity at a unique holiday resort. Then, at 9:00 AM you'll arrive at Henties Bay for a quick tour and a bit of a history lesson before you head to your main destination. Arrive at Spitzkoppe and learn some interesting facts about the mountain. You will now have some free time to walk or climb some of the peaks, or take the opportunity to visit some ancient bushman rock art.     Depending on the time of the year, the Pelican Point Kayaking tour starts at either 7:45 AM or 8:30 AM. You will take a scenic drive in a 4x4 vehicle along the Walvis Bay Lagoon and the salt mines to Pelican Point. Stop along the way to take pictures of countless flamingoes, pelicans, large flocks of cormorants, and a great variety of other birds and wildlife. After about one hour, you reach Pelican Point and hop in your kayak. Pelican Point is home to up to 50,000 Cape Fur Seals year-round. They are very friendly and playful and not scared of the kayaks. The seals are inquisitive and often come within touching distance of the kayaks. You'll stay on the protected side of the peninsula and spend around two hours on the ocean, depending on general weather conditions. It was amaaaaazziiiing!!! I’d highly recommend. Being on the sea, almost in the middle of nowhere but deep blue waters is sooo calming.

They say they are only serving a snack but it's enough for a full meal.
