Departure at 9am from Reims central station.
Plunge into the heart of the chalk pits with a visit to either Maison Veuve Clicquot or Maison Pommery, houses with superb Gallo-Roman galleries. The tour will be followed by a wine tasting.
Next, a change of scenery with a free visit to Reims Cathedral.
A short break in the program for lunch at the Au p'tit Comptoir restaurant in Reims or the Théâtre in Epernay.
Next, discover the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, the capital of Champagne.
We'll then head for Hautvillers, in the footsteps of Dom Pérignon, where we'll stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the scenery and sip a glass of champagne.
Finally, we'll visit either Champagne Mercier, part of the LVMH group, or Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, one of France's favorite champagnes.
Return to Reims center station at 6pm.
