The organizer charged us extra due to a train delay as a result of the train we planned to take was not accessible upon arrival in Lucerne so it added a half hour to the trip but within the 11 hr tour as advertised. We felt it wasn’t our fault but paid the extra 150 Swiss francs anyway. Also, the meal served was less than first class gourmet of chicken, a light lunch. The guide Gustavo was excellent, and the scenery was superb.

This was an outstanding adventure! Ray met us at the train station since our hotel was a little outside of town. He was knowledgeable and an expert at getting us to each train on the tour. He took care of everything so all we had to do is relax and enjoy the beauty and the experience. Ray was even our photographer on the trip :) It gave us memories we will never forget!

Our tour guide rose was absolutely amazing thank you rose!! The glacier express had breathtaking views and as a train it was stunning I will say the staff on it was awful and it made the experience not as enjoyable as it could of been they only did one drink service no drinks with the meal not even water I asked and was told no drinks until after service but they never came back round, myself and my husband had no forks and had to wait 15 minutes and go up the train to ask the staff numerous times for a fork to eat our food which was cold when we started it. The food was nice and tasty. Just the staff was very rude she unhelpful.
