Firstly our tour guide Kid made this day amazing! He ensured everyone had amazing sights, photos and kept us all entertained! I don’t think we would have enjoyed it so much if it wasn’t for him! Massive thank you Kid for the memories. Now the sights… incredible! It’s an expensive tour but definitely worth it. To stand on the top of Jungfraujoch was amazing. Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries we have visited and this day highlighted that indeed.

Full description

Journey to the top of Europe at 3454 m/11333 ft, on a guided day trip from Zurich to Jungfraujoch. Take a scenic bus tour to the magnificent mountain world of the Bernese Oberland.

After a short stop in Interlaken, reach Lauterbrunnen and board the cogwheel train for a mountain trip via Kleine Scheidegg at the foot of the Eiger North Wall to Jungfraujoch – Europe’s highest railway station. Enjoy the incredible world of eternal snow and ice.

Visit the Alpine Sensation, a round-tour subway officially opened to mark the centenary of Jungfrau Railway, the Ice Palace, and experience the breathtaking panorama view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace, overlooking the Aletsch Glacier and the snow-capped peaks of neighboring countries.

On the downhill mountain, venture to Grindelwald where bus coach will be waiting to take you back to Zurich.

This was the most incredible trip. We had been in Zurich for 6 days and this was absolutely the highlight. Our guide, Hans, was very helpful and kept everything running smoothly. The train journeys to Jungfraujoch were very scenic and just kept getting better the higher the train climbed. Once we were at the sphinx observatory there was thick cloud so we weren’t able to see the views at first however the tour allows for 3 hours at the top so by the end of our visit we could see the views perfectly and could barely drag ourselves away as they were so unbelievably beautiful. We had had such a wonderful time we forgot that we still had the cable car ride down to look forward to. This was the perfect end to the tour and we all left saying it had been one of the best days of our lives.
