Was given updates and information before the activity via WhatsApp, and collected on time by the driver on the day of the safari. Long drive to the airport, where Anna Geoffrey met us and kept our energy high with her enthusiasm and positive vibes! The flight to Mikumi was really nice, pilots were friendly and let me take pics on their seats after we landed! Safari was nice, our jeep driver was knowledgeable (think his name was Amad) and he made sure we saw all the animals we wanted, even a lion from close up! Lunch was tasty and filling, after which we had more time on the safari before our flight back to Zanzibar then driven back to our hotel. The day was around 12-15hrs depending on where your hotel is and flight delays. A good experience and I would recommend this activity to everyone. Thank you again ❤️
What an amazing day. Even at the airport we were taken care of. We saw an array of animals. It was wonderful to get up so close to these majestic creatures. The food was really good and there was plenty of it. The guide did everything he could so we could get the most out of the day. I would recommend this trip.

Full description
You will be picked up early in the morning at the hotel you are staying for a transfer to the airport. Following this, around 7.45 am, your flight will depart from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park to begin your shared safari game drive around 8.30 am.
During the game drive you will explore the wildlife and environment of Tanzania. Your driver guides have a lot of experience with the area and the wildlife and love to tell you everything about it.
Experience a bush lunch in the afternoon around 13.00. After your bush lunch, continue with the game drive, then get driven back to the airstrip at 14.30 for your flight back to Zanzibar at 15.00. Once you arrive back in Zanzibar, enjoy a transfer back to your hotel.
