Xianggong Mountain is located on the west bank of the Lijiang River between Huangbu Shoal and Nine-Horse Mural Hill. An ascent of the mountain is rewarded with a bird's eye view of Lijiang River winding through countless peaks. Each year, a good number of photographers are attracted to Xianggong Mountain by the light and shadow, sea of clouds, and amazing morning glow at sunrise. Morning: Departure from Guilin and Li River Cruise Your day begins at approximately 8:00 AM, when your private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Guilin. After a scenic 50-minute drive, you’ll arrive at either the Guilin Zhujiang Pier (for the 4-star deluxe boat) or the Mopanshan Pier (for the 3-star standard boat). We highly recommend upgrading to the 4-star Deluxe Cruise, which offers comfortable amenities and a buffet lunch to elevate your experience. The Li River Cruise lasts about 4 hours, during which you’ll marvel at iconic sights such as the Nine-Horse Fresco, the picturesque scene featured on the back of the 20 RMB note at Yellow Cloth Shoal, serene grasslands, farmlands, and uniquely shaped limestone hills resembling brushes, crowns, figures, and goat hooves. As you sail along, the landscape transitions from urban views to tranquil countryside, setting the stage for your arrival in Yangshuo at 1:20 PM. Afternoon: Exploring Yangshuo’s Charm and Countryside Upon disembarking in Yangshuo, you’ll have free time to explore its enchanting streets, including the famous West Street, where traditional and international cultures collide. Wander through shops selling embroidered silk fabrics, wax-painted textiles, and intricately designed women’s shoes, or stop by cafes and art galleries for a leisurely break. For those who prefer outdoor exploration, your guide will arrange bicycles for you to ride along one of Yangshuo’s most classic biking routes. Pedal through ancient villages, pastoral scenery, and along the banks of the Yulong River, where water buffaloes graze and stunning karst formations rise majestically against the sky. If you’d rather stay in Yangshuo, simply inform your guide in advance, and they’ll assist with directions to your accommodation. Evening: Return to Guilin After a delightful day in Yangshuo, it’s time to head back to Guilin. Board your comfortable private vehicle for a relaxing 1.5-hour ride, giving you ample opportunity to unwind or take a nap before arriving at your hotel. With memories of towering karst peaks, charming villages, and vibrant streets, this 1-day adventure will leave you with a deeper appreciation for the natural and cultural wonders of southern China.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Yangshuo or Guilin at 9 AM and be transported by private air-conditioned car to Xianggong Mountain. An ascent of this peak is rewarded by breath taking views of the Li River as it winds its way between innumerable peaks. Enjoy this world-famous view which has attracted many photographers with its dramatic play of light and shadow amongst a sea of clouds. From here you will be taken to Yangshuo’s historic West Street for lunch or to rest. Admire the oldest street in Yangshuo where 1400 years of history sets the stage for a vibrant cultural melting pot. From 2:30 to 3:40 enjoy a relaxing trip along the Yulong River by bamboo boat. Famed as the little Li River, the Yulong boasts an incredible landscape which rivals the Li River. Peaceful views of ancient villages and bridges along with the daily life of local people will provide the perfect end to your experience. Finally you will be returned to your hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo.

On this full-day tour, admire unique mountains, fabulous rivers and quiet countryside on a hike from Yangdi Town to Xingping Town. Start at the Dragon Bridge and continue on the path that heads down the Yulong River to the Dragon Village and Fenglou Village. Walk along the riverside and pass by local villages, paddy fields and bamboo groves.
