You have to walk a lot from the temple, but it is so beautiful that it is worth it. We were thankful that our driver Sholi tried to make us less tired. However, the travel agency did not contact us via WhatsApp in advance, did not provide reservation details, and could not contact us using the contact information on the voucher. The local agency needs improvement.

Yogyakarta is a city with many thousands of years old temples which are the remains of ancient great kingdoms. Two big names that are interesting are Borobudur and Prambanan Temples. A visit to Yogyakarta would not be complete without seeing two historical temples, Borobudur as a Buddhist temple and Prambanan as a Hindu temple.

Borobudur temple,

Prambanan Archaeological Park,

  • Follow the rule from our government,to visit Borobudur temple now for visitors can buy the entrance tickets via online website, limitation of special tickets for climbing Borobudur  to the structure is 150 visitors per hour going up to the temple structure.
  • I would recommend you to book the entrance tickets to Borobudur climb earlier as possible. After I receive the notification of your booking, I'll immediately send you the special website link for purchasing the entrance tickets for Borobudur climb (Temple Structure).With this information I hope the visitor will have enough time to buy the entrance tickets for Borobudur climb to the structure before it's sold out.
  • On Monday,visitors can't access the main temple. There are only allowed to see the main temple from the yard only. Because on Mondays there are temple maintenance activities, every Monday.
