After being picked up from your hotel in Yogyakarta, you have option to start your adventure with sunrise or without sunrise.

Head to a hill nearby the Borobudur Temple to witness the breathtaking Borobudur sunrise, if you go for sunrise or skip the hill if you wish to go straight to the Borobudur Temple.

Explore the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple, the single largest Buddhist structure on earth. Be the first of the day to enter the gates as they open. This is one of the world's greatest ancient monuments.

Continue your tour on board by a jeep to the Merapi volcano, one of the most popular volcanoes in the country. Snap your own momentous memories over the picturesque spots of the volcano.

Afterwards, visit to one of the most beautiful Hindu temples, Prambanan. The largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. See the three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma) and the animals who serve them.

Finish the tour by witnessing an epic love story of Javanese culture at Ramayana Dance at Purawisata Jogja. This ballet will offer you a spectacular theatrical show and traditional javanese musical.

  • All entry fees are guarantee, but must be paid separately on the day of the tour
  • Both temples (not each) entry fees are USD55 or IDR900,000 per person
  • Setumbu Hill Sunrise entry fee is USD4
  • Merapi Volcano fee is USD27 or IDR400,000 per group (not per person) up to 3 people includes jeep
  • Ramayana Dance Show is IDR300,000
  • Please note, Borobudur Temple can not be climbed up to the top level on Mondays, please adjust your travel date accordingly
  • The Ramayana Dance Show is performed at Purawisata Jogja (not at Prambanan)

Toni has been an amazing guide and we really enjoyed spending time with him. He also gave us some great piece of advice. He also took us to see a small coffee plantation, where they let us taste and buy their amazing coffee. If you want to take nice pictures at Borobudur, you should enter before the first tour of 8:30 AM. At mount Merapi, you'll see the bunker and some pictures of the eruptions. We did not manage to see the vulcan because it was too foggy, which was quite unfortunate. The optional stop at the river could be skipped cause it's just for taking pictures of you in the jeep, which you can do anyway. Prambanan is quite a large site with many temples, so be sure to have enough time to spend there. The Ramayana dance was amazing.
