Join an exciting snowmobile safari for the beginners as well as more experienced drivers. After the safety and driving instructions, let's drive to explore the snowy forests, frozen lakes and swamps by snowmobiles. Get driving tips from our skilled snowmobile guides to fully enjoy the experience. We stop for a cup of hot drink and a sweet bite on the way. Let's take some photos before for memories and rest a bit before heading back!

Our bus will drive you to several different spots with best chances of seeing the northern lights. Our guide will be your photographer on the journey, taking nice photos of you, playing with lights for funny photo effects and hopefully with the auroras. He will also share useful tips for photographing in the dark and tell you some stories and legends about the Northern Lights. If we are lucky we will have the opportunity to admire the auroras on the sky but in any case, you will have great photos from the evening!

Join us for a snowmobile tour where you will drive all the way to the top of the hill! With clear weather the sceneries are breath-taking as you will stand on top of the highest fell of the area. You can see neighbouring fells and all the way to Sweden. While viewing the sceneries, we have a break at the top cafe for a hot drink and a doughnut. The journey continues before heading back to the village Ylläsjärvi through the snow-covered forest. If the weather or the snow condition are not good, the tour will take you to another track, driving in the forest and on frozen marsh.

Come and join a daylight snowshoe walk in the beautiful forest surrounding the traditional village of Ylläsjärvi. Leaving right from the village, you will head towards the Boreal Forest and walk on an easy trail leading you to a frozen marshland.  Adventurous people can feel free to make their own track in the deep snow. You will stop at the marsh, make a fire and enjoy a cup of hot drinks and biscuits. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the nature in Lapland with the guide teaching you about animal tracks and experiment the fun of snowshoe walking in an easy way.

Join the snowmobile ride across the Arctic snowy nature to the magnificent Snow Village. Explore the unique construction made of snow and ice, with all of its beautiful snow rooms and ice sculptures. All rooms in the snow hotel are individually decorated with different themes and sculptures, lights and details - find your favourite! Something very extraordinary is the restaurant and the chapel built with snow and ice. After the visit, enjoy a warm drink and a doughnut in the warm restaurant before driving through the snowy scenery back to Ylläsjärvi village.

When you expect to have a bit more snowmobiling and try some serious ice fishing, this is an adventure for you. We drive to a lake where we learn ice fishing techniques. If we are lucky, we might get some perch and white fish. The guide serves the lunch by the lake before we start heading back to our starting point in village Ylläsjärvi.

Your getaway with snowmobiles into the wilderness. Feel the thrill of driving remote tracks around snowy landscapes of Lapland: up the hills, across the rivers, along the lakes and swamps. Go beyond the most common, explore something new, and have more challenging driving. During the day outdoors, also enjoy a lunch in the forest as well as hot drinks to keep the energy level high.

If you're longing to venture off beaten tourist tracks and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and culture of Lapland, a visit to our reindeer farm is the perfect experience for you! We warmly welcome you to meet our reindeer herd, learn about the tradition of reindeer herding, and discover village life in Lapland. We are located in a small place right at the heart of Finnish Lapland, 90km north of Rovaniemi. You can visit us en route from Rovaniemi to Levi, Ylläs, Sodankylä or Saariselkä/Inari or while you are staying at a cottage in a nearby village. Please note that there is no direct bus connection to our reindeer farm. Duration: Approximately two hours but there is no time pressure or hurry. Group Size: 2–12 guests. This is a private experience for you and your partner, family or group of friends. ________________________________________ Program Overview • Upon booking, we will provide you with the exact location of our reindeer farm and detailed driving instructions. • After a brief introduction, you'll hop into a sledge pulled by a snowmobile. We will drive out to the reindeer pasture and feed the animals. Watching the entire herd come running after the sledge is truly mesmerizing! This is an ideal moment to capture stunning photos of the reindeer and practice your wildlife photography skills. You can also simply relax and enjoy the spectacle. • After the feed is distributed, we will stop to make fire and enjoy hot berry juice alongside local homemade delicacies. Please inform us of any dietary preferences or restrictions in advance. • While you savour your snacks and drinks, you'll learn about the history and current practices of reindeer herding. You can also try your skills at reindeer lassoing - on a dummy of course. If you want, you can also go for a walk with our young soon-to-be sledge reindeer, who will happily pose if you reward them with some lichen. • Our two friendly Lapponian herder dogs will accompany us the whole time. They love making new friends and are always up for cuddles. ________________________________________ Important Information • Clothing: Please dress warmly with appropriate winter gear, including a base layer, mid-layer, and windproof outer layer. A warm hat, thick gloves/mittens, thinner gloves for photography, and proper winter boots are essential. • Accessibility: Unfortunately, this experience is not suitable for wheelchair users, individuals with animal hair allergies, or children under five years old. • There is the possibility to purchase reindeer meat products and antlers (for decoration, handicrafts or as dog treats).
