Travel by bus to Arizona, arriving at Willow Beach Marina. Here, get fitted for your kayak and equipment, before setting off on your adventure with your guide. Paddle north on the Colorado River while your guide points out wildlife and geological features in your surroundings. This small-group guided kayak tour begins at Willow Beach, located inside Lake Mead National Recreation Area. After a quick safety orientation, you’ll paddle 4.5 miles (7.2 km) round trip through the serene Black Canyon. While Emerald Cave is the most requested stop (and we reach it 95% of the time), the true highlight is a short, peaceful hike to a scenic overlook with views of the entire canyon and lake. Your guide will share stories of native wildlife, geology, and river lore throughout the trip. This is a nature-forward experience designed for relaxation and wonder—not adrenaline. This is located just 45 minutes from the Las Vegas, NV strip and 20 minutes from the world famous Hoover Dam.
