Vienna: Haydn Quartet in the Brahms Hall of the Musikverein

Vienna: Haydn Quartet in the Brahms Hall of the Musikverein

The musicians of the Haydn Quartet have won a pre-eminent place in the music scene as specialists in the Vienna classics and are welcome guests at international festivals throughout the world. Apart from Haydn, their repertoire comprises not only the classical quartet literature, but also masters from Haydn’s time whose works have been undeservedly neglected, and works by modern and contemporary composers. The quartet performs and records regularly in Austria and also appears on Austrian radio and television. It regularly performs in the Esterhazy castle where Haydn composed much of his music. To mark the Haydn centenary of 2009, it gave an exceptionally successful and unique concert series during which all 69 of the composer’s quartets were performed in St Michael’s, central Vienna, where Haydn also lived for some time. RAXI (Electric Rickshaw) Vienna Tours with two options

RAXI (Electric Rickshaw) Vienna Tours with two options

Enjoy places in Vienna that are unknown to tourists, such as the oldest Gothic residential tower in Vienna or the Danube Park. You can discover everything very comfortably and without tired legs with the panoramic Raxi-Tours. The Raxi (electric rickshaw) tour will show you exactly what you really want to see in Vienna almost as if you were walking and this without any effort. The route can be personalized based on your interests such as architecture or history, or as a tour guide i can suggest and design a route for you. I can pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the place you want or you choose one of the meeting points. Enjoy Vienna even in slightly colder temperatures with a heated blanket that can keep you warm for about 3 hours on a battery and an additional picnic blanket that is waterproof and also windproof. Raxi (my e-rickshaw) was specially designed in Holland (West Europe) for comfortable trips for two adults, it is new and in very good condition. RAXI is thoroughly checked every month in the workshops and is always in excellent condition but is still just a bike and not a car. Raxi is equipped with shock absorbers, a beautiful orange canopy, and a retractable footplate (for easy entry/exit). The engine is under my seats so no engine heat is radiated to the guests. Two walking sticks or hiking sticks can also be conveniently transported on a special frame. The weather for Raxi rides: between +2°C (if the roads are not slippery) and 30°C, with a maximum wind of 40km/h. Rain protection for light rain or snow is available. If the weather makes a Raxi tour impossible, we can do almost the same tour using public transport. However, in this case we will also have to walk. Your pickup from your meeting point or hotel remains free. I will send you a message 48 hours in advance if the weather makes a trip with the RAXI impossible and only a tour by public transport is still possible so you can book my new Tour: "In Vienna like a Viennese: by public transport & walking" instead the Raxi tour. If you do not want to take a tour using public transport, you can also just cancel your booking free of charge.
