Overall rating
We really enjoyed the tour. Glad we booked a guided tour so you can understand what it is you’re looking at and the history behind it. It is a lot of walking and steps but it does tell you this before you book so we were prepared. I think time for a break at the end could be factored in for 20-30 mins to look at the shop and have a coffee in the restaurant. People who want to go straight back to the coach can do so and wait on the coach. We felt rushed at the end so didn’t get a proper look in the shop
Wonderful. Erik was a great tour guide and made sure we arrived informed and punctual. It was a harrowing experience but very informative and important. The salt mines were fascinating and a once in a life time experience. Well worth the long day and early start.
