Guys, just take this tour. It is epic. Beautiful, charming, scenery, great experience for families and couples. The highlight of this of course is the tour operator, of course. Such lovely, nice people I made a mistake in the trip - I lost the helmet midway - Left it somewhere. James immediately came down, gave me a replacement, and went back to retrieve it (Technically it was my job to retrieve it, but he was so kind and helpful - he went beyond his duty and helped me out). Melissa, his colleague was also kind, nice, helpful, and made this experience memorable for us 100% recommend.
A great way to spend half a day in Wanaka. It was nice to actually get out on the lake and have a look around. Our driver/guide was friendly and informative. The island was pristine and untouched. Just a short walk uphill to the lake, and we were rewarded with meeting a few cheeky Weka's!
It was a perfect couple of hours on the water. And great little stroll on Stephenson Island. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this !
The trip was well organised and well worth the money. Fabulous track and fabulous views. One of the best things we have done in the holiday! Do this!
