If you want to get off the boat at Blue Lagoon, Comino, you must book a free ticket at www.blcomino.com. Tickets are required in 2025 but cost nothing. After that, you go to the island of Gozo. If you choose land transport when you book, a vehicle will take you to Gozo’s capital city, Victoria (also called Rabat). You can walk around, see the old citadel, and enjoy the local charm and history. On the way back to Bugibba, the boat enters the Santa Maria pirate caves and passes by the Elephant’s Head, a special rock that looks like an elephant. You can choose from medium-sized boats with fewer people, or a large catamaran with underwater windows to see fish and sea life. Boats have waterslides, shaded and sunny areas, swim ladders, toilets, drinks for sale, and audio guides in many languages. *Important: If you want to get off the boat at Blue Lagoon, Comino, you must book a ticket at www.blcomino.com. Join captain Kevin and his crew on an unforgettable boat cruise visiting the islands of Comino and Gozo. Starting from St Pauls Bay, cruise past the northern coast of Malta close enough to snap amazing pictures of its high rocky cliffs, coves, naturally formed rock formations, and caves. Pass by historical landmarks such as the islands of St. Pauls and the huge statue of St. Pauls that was shipwrecked in Malta in 60A.D. Enter into the Ahrax and Santa Maria caves stopping as close as possible to get some incredible shots. Throughout the journey, captain Kevin will be making a live commentary about all the sites, including some historic and cultural information. Then, enjoy a 1.5-hour stop in the famous Blue Lagoon, the place that some have described as paradise. With its silky white sand and crystal clear waters it is impossible to resist a dip here. Swim, slide or jump into the unbelievably clear water or walk off the boat for a dip at the beach. Effective 12th May 2025, Maltese authorities have introduced a requirement for all visitors to the Blue Lagoon to present a QR code indicating their designated time slot. To obtain your free access pass, please visit blcomino.com. Our scheduled stop at the Blue Lagoon will be from 11:00 to 15:30. During this time, you may choose to either remain on board or disembark and explore the island. During your time on Comino Island, remain on the boat and use its many facilities. Sunbathe on the upper sun deck, chill out in the shady seats on the main deck, make use of the 10-meter slide, or walk off the boat to the small sandy beach. After the time in Comino, sail towards the island of Gozo. Enjoy 3 hours of free time to explore the island. Take the local bus or pay an additional 5euro on the day for a convenient transfer to Victoria, the capital city of Gozo, and a second stop at Xlendi bay. After 3 hours on Gozo make your way back to the harbor and continue the cruise back to Malta through the south channel of Comino. Pass by the Crystal Lagoon, sea caves, and St. Mary's tower before returning to Malta.

The tour continues to the famous Blue Lagoon, where we'll stop for one hour. Enjoy an optional walk around the island, taking in the tranquil winter beauty of Comino. We will head to the famous Blue Lagoon most know for its beautiful clear blue water, here you will have the option to go down on the island of Comino and explore and swim from land, you will also have the option to stay on the boat were Captain George will find the best stop to anchor so you will be able to swim, snorkel and jump from the boat. Enjoy approximatly 1 hour of free time to explore sandy beaches and bask in the sun. Continue to the breathtaking Crystal Lagoon for approximately 45 mins most know for its snorkeling, coves and amazing sea life! Marvel at turquoise waters, swim, snorkel, and feed fish. We will then pass by San Nikolaw Bay and Santa Marija Bay before heading over to the breathtaking Comino Caves, getting up and close and also going inside so you will be able to take pictures and see the amazing scenery found in them. Pass by the famous land mark know as the elephants head which literally looks just like a head of an elephant, we will stop so you would be able to take some photos. Cruise past the Comino Tower famous for the movie "The count of Monte Cristo" and the tuna fish farm before heading back to Cirkewwa. ***Sunset option*** Opt for the sunset cruise to enjoy a slightly shorter version of the tour, which doesn't go all the way around Comino.

On the way to Victoria, you will have a photo stop of approximately 15 minutes at one of Gozo's gorgeous bays and drive by different attractions, such as churches and other landmarks, admiring the magnificent countryside and stunning landscape and taking in the impressive beauty and special charm of this tiny island. You will make a second stop of approximately 75 minutes at Victoria, the capital of Gozo. Here, you can enjoy some free time to simply roam around the city, have a coffee or snack at one of the many cafes, or visit one of the city's shopping centres. Within the city of Victoria, you can also visit the majestic Citadel, an imposing medieval fortress being considered by UNESCO as a possible World Heritage Site. After the sightseeing tour, you will cruise towards the island of Comino. Get ready to be amazed by the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of the famous Blue Lagoon. Here you will stop for approximately 90 minutes to swim, sunbathe, snorkel, or simply enjoy a walk in the countryside of Comino Island. The island of Comino is also worth visiting during the off-season months when it might be too cold to swim at the Blue Lagoon. With no cars or urban areas, it is an excellent destination for hikers and photo enthusiasts. It provides many hiking trails leading to St. Mary's Chapel, St. Mary's Watch Tower, and St. Mary's Battery. After stopping at the Blue Lagoon, you will cruise by the stunning Comino Caves before heading back to Sliema.

The etymology of “Ggantija” is derived from the Maltese word for giant (“ggant”) because it was believed the site was built by a race of giants.  This mythological idea makes sense considering that the temples are constructed from megaliths (massive limestone blocks) measuring more than 5 meters in length and weighing over 50 tonnes. Afterward, head towards the mediaeval fortified city known locally as “Cittadella” (The Citadel).  Located within the capital city of Gozo (Victoria), with its distinctive skyline and imposing military architecture, this ancient, fortified city stands out as Gozo’s major landmark, a beacon visible from all over the island. Next visit is the delightful sea inlet known as Xlendi Bay, located at the end of a deep, lush ravine, which was once a riverbed and surrounded by picturesque steep cliffs. The bay is now on the must-visit list of most daytrippers to the island.  Xlendi’s small but lively promenade is busy at all times of the day, with a variety of cafes, restaurants, and a handful of souvenir shops. Though seemingly bursting with activity during summer, Xlendi Bay remains a refreshingly quiet place even at the height of the season. Your final stop is Dwejra. Situated on the western shore of the island of Gozo, this area is a geological and ecological haven. Its surroundings offer a blend of geology, landscape, fauna, habitats, shorelines, seascapes, archaeology, flora, and history, making this an experience to remember. Dwejra Bay is also known for its Inland Sea, a small bay surrounded by high cliffs and connected by an impressive 65-meter-long natural tunnel that opens out into the open sea, a truly fascinating natural formation that evokes awe and leaves a striking impression.
