This was by far the most value-for-money experience in Victoria. Boat and crew were very helpful. Drinks and snacks included in price where excellent. Perfect pace and highlight ending with a beautiful sunset

This was surprisingly good for a sunset cruise, better than most we have done. The water is very calm, you will spot birds and animals like crocodiles, lots of hippos and elephants. The snacks were cold and not that great but that's not why you're here, just skip it. There was an open bar which was great with decent quality alcohol(Zambezi beer and Gordon's gin) so that was a nice touch. The sunset was beautiful and you even see the mist of the waterfall where the water drops. They provide a pickup and drop from and to your accommodation which you need especially when it gets dark. The crew was very responsive and friendly and the captain was great at spotting animals and very safe.

Full description

The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photographic opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline.

You may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, buffalo, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species. Whilst cruising, you will be served snacks, beer, wines, local spirits, and soft drinks, all are available on board. The cruise takes about 2 and a half hours.

Your guide will pick you up at the hotel for a short transfer to the jetty site where you will board your boat for the sunset cruise. Enjoy and experience the sun setting. Once the sun sets, your driver will drop you off at the lodge or hotel.

I cannot recommend this Boat cruise enough. Victoria Falls was overall just a fantastic trip but this is probably one of the highlights of my trip. After a 40th birthday luncheon for my husband with 15 family members (including 3 toddlers) we boarded this cruise and it was a perfect way to end the day. We managed to see various animals including hippos, crocs, elephants, buffalo, birds and the sunset over the mist from the Vic Falls gorge was a tip on the iceberg. The snacks were basically a whole meal and drinks were included which isn't like most places we've been to Vic falls were drinks are a separate charge. Guide was knowledgeable and hosts were fantastic. absolutely loved it.
