Alessandro was our guide for this most enjoyable tour to Madonna della Corona. We were very very lucky in that there were only 4 of us on the tour all of whom were pretty mountain goatish which allowed us to explore areas possibly not covered by all groups. We were picked up promptly and driven safely to Madonna della Corona whilst all the time listening to interesting facts about the surroundings being recounted by Alessandro. The visit to the Monastery was incredible and the depth of Alessandro's knowledge as to its history was superb. We finished off with a superb Italian meal of meats, pasta and cheeses all washed down with a lovely pink rose. Alessandro very kindly dropped us off at the top of the Castel San Pietro which then enabled us to view the beautiful views of the whole city before walking back down to the city. A most enjoyable day with a great guide and definitely worthwhile. Thank you.
