Venice: Murano and Burano Half-Day Lagoon Trip

I would thoroughly recommend this trip to Murano and Burano to anyone visiting Venice for more than two days (we were there for three). It was so well organised from start to finish, the lovely lady on board gave us regular and informative commentary in Italian, English and Spanish on Venice and important points along the way to the islands, and it was lovely to see these two islands so near to Venice; we preferred Burano, with its pretty colourful houses (there's a great gelaterie if you keep walking further down into the town and avoid the one/s at the town entrance near the drop off point). A really enjoyable and informative half-day trip. It also probably really helped that the weather was glorious too!
