This was amazing ! The musicians were very talented and they really brought their performances to life 😊 Do be aware there is no toilet in the venue so you have to buy something in the café next door…

Absolutely fantastic, so moving and beautiful to hear the music of Vivaldi played so well on Baroque instruments, in the Vivaldi church with the amazing acoustics... like time travel to the age of the great master himself playing here. Highly recommended!

In the Vivaldi Church of Santa Maria della Pietà, in Riva degli Schiavoni, between St. Marks' Square, Dogal Palace and the wonderful Arsenale, you will have the possibility to listen to the most beatiful baroque music. Beginning with the masterpieces of Antonio Vivaldi, Estro Armonico, Stravaganza, Opera arias, Sacred music, and going on with composers like Albinoni, Marcello, Tartini, Boccherini, and from abroad, Bach, Marais, Haendel, Mozart and others. In the incredible, acoustically unforgettable venue of the church in the area in which Vivaldi worked for quite 40 years, writing, conducting, creating his music.

Not what was advertised - it was just vivaldi, not a variety of composers. Good quality ensemble. Fairly short and sweet, lesser known pieces. Very uncomfortable seating.
