We had our original tour cancelled (not enough people booked on. I suspect this would be less likely to happen in high season) and moved to the morning slot, which unfortunately meant we didn’t get to see Torcello. But that didn’t spoil the Murano/Burano only tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and just let us get on with visiting the islands. Would highly recommend.

The meeting point was confusing. Ticket said 1A but we kept moving to different places. Since we do not speak Italian, this was especially hard for us.

Full description

Visit the most beautiful islands in the Venetian Lagoon on this 4.5 or 6-hour afternoon trip. Stop at the island of Murano, home to world-renowned glassblowers, Burano, known for its lace production and the ancient settlement of Torcello.

Stop at Murano and see a demonstration by a glass-blowing master. The tradition of glassblowing has been passed down generations of Murano residents.

Continue to Torcello and see the central square, the Church of Santa Fosca, Ponte del Diavolo and other interesting sites.

The last visit will be to Burano. The island is world-known for its hand-made lace but also for its small, brightly painted houses that are popular with artists. 

Your tour ends back in the departure point.

The only issue we had was when we arrived at the pier it was confusing as there are many tours leaving at the same time. Tour was lovely and our guide was great.
