Departure from Uvita - Marino Ballena National Park: Upon arrival at the offices you will check-in with the tour guide in charge of the activity, you will start at the meeting point of our offices where the tour guide in charge of the group will receive you and give you instructions and fundamental information for the activity, additionally there will be a coffee, juice, cookies and water station for you to enjoy while we are waiting to gather the group. From Uvita Beach you will board a boat that will take you on a scenic ride on the Pacific Ocean with a tour of about 1.5 hours. The boat ride itself is an adventure, as it often offers sightings of dolphins, sea turtles and, if you are lucky, even humpback whales (January-April). Guided jungle hike: Upon arrival at San Pedrillo, you will enjoy a guided hike through the dense and vibrant rainforest. A professional naturalist tour guide will lead you through the trails, pointing out the incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Watch for howler monkeys, scarlet macaws, tapirs and a wide variety of birds and reptiles, all using telescopes and high quality nature observation equipment. The tour begins at our office in Uvita, the guide in charge will receive you and give you instructions, we also have a snack with snacks such as pastries, coffee, tea or orange juice. Once the group is ready we will walk to the national park, which is about 300 meters away, where the 1 hour and 20 minute tour will begin, when we arrive at the protected area of Caño Island, 2 snorkels of 45 minutes each will be made, It is possible to observe turtles, manta rays and many varied fish, in the whale season they are observed during the journey from December to March and from July to October. We will take a break on the beach with a small snack and at the end we will return to the starting point and there we will have a delicious picnic lunch and the activity will end.You can stay at the beach or return to our office.

The tour guide will provide details about the activity to the group and show you the way to the safety parking near to the National Park . Marino Ballena National Park has no port of marina so is importan you know we get wet to go on board around your knees or a little bit up. Once we get into the boat starts the adventure to search for marine biodiversity ,Humpback whales, Dolphins and Turtles, Marine birds and great views of the coast line. Experience captain and tour guide will offer a great and knowledge experience about history and all details about the wonderful biodiversity that this National Park holds. After the time of search and enjoy the nature and species you will have time to get into the water to swim some minutes to refresh (important to mention we do not offer snorkeling due to the water close to the shore is not clear , just on dry season maybe is possible to do some snorkeling but really difficult to be honest ,so dont thrust about tour offered with snorkeling because is not possible during rainy season )for the tour we provide fresh pinneapple and watermelon ,filter water (please bring your bottle for refill lets avoid single use plastic).Once we get back from the tour you can stay into the national park to explore by yourself the trails,forest and the famous whales tail or tombolo formation we include the ticket in out tour so you are able to get in and out several times you want to before 6pm.Recomended to bring sandals or water shoes,sunscreen,bottle for water , dry bag,hats. Really important me as a tour guide i can tell you something please let go with positive vibes to enjoy ,first we have to search the whales and other animals they are on a natural habitat not a zoo or aquarium so lets be explorers.
