An incredible experience and the scenery was just amazing. Well worth the visit! The only catch was you had to pay on arrival to access the temple grounds where the event was being held but it was so cheap. equivalent of 2 euro per person.

Good fun, it’s nice to see a different cultures stories through dance. Careful of the monkeys though, they steal accessories to trade for food, it’s pretty funny to watch but your glasses may get broken. The fire dancing is super cool and entertaining/funny.

Full description

Witness a unique cultural experience with a Kecak fire and dance performance on the grounds of Uluwatu Temple. Watch native Balinese dancers perform a breathtaking show of traditional Hindu dance whilst the sun sets in the background.

Kecak is a Balinese dance and rhythmic chant depicting the battle from the Hindu epic Ramayana in which Rama fights the demonic King Ravana with the help of the monkey god Hanuman.

Let yourself be hypnotized by the swirling flames combined with vibrant traditional attire as the performers take you on a journey through Balinese Hinduism. The show is timed to coincide with the sunset, so you can be sure of good views during your time in Uluwatu.

  • In high season, there will be an extra performance scheduled at 7:00 pm
  • This would be without prior notice and depends on the number of visitors on the day
  • If you didn't get the chance to see the performance at the regular showing time, the same voucher can be redeemed for a performance at 7:00 pm performance
  • Cancellation only allowed by contacting the agent before their selected visit date.

There was a separate (and less crowded) line for online ticket pickup. Would advise you to book 1-2 days ahead for the 6 PM show as it gets sold out really fast. There is a 7 PM show as well.
