Bergen: Round-Trip Ulriken Cable Car Ticket

Make your way to the lower station and hop on one of the spacious gondolas to ride to the top of the highest of Bergen's seven mountains, 643 meters above sea level. Once at the top, enjoy panoramic views of Bergen and its surrounding landscapes, including the sea, fjords, and mountains. Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery or opt for a more active outing and go on a hike. Choose one of the many trails available, from a quick 10-minute walk to something a bit more challenging like the Vidden hike, a well-marked trail that starts at the top of Mount Ulriken and follows a gravel road to Mount Fløyen. Once you've worked up an appetite, pop into the Ulriken Café for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink. The café also offers packed sandwiches, perfect for grabbing before you head out on a hike. And for anyone looking for more of a fine dining experience, there's also the Skyskraperen restaurant. Make your reservation ahead of time to enjoy their seasonal menu. Once you're done enjoying all that the mountain has to offer, simply use your round-trip ticket to hop back aboard one of the cable cars and return to the lower station.

Gunn the travel guide was very knowledgable and made sure what she talked about had something for everyone: history, geology, religion, you name it! Each stop was beautiful in its own way. I'd recommend to other tourists only in Iceland for a short time.

I don’t think we could have had a better experience. The Ulriken Cable Car trolly staff were very accommodating and made every effort to ensure our visit was a pleasant one. I highly recommend the trolly transporters when you visit lovely Bergen.

Bit more information clarifying how far this cable car is from the centre would have been helpful - we had a mobility scooter with us and if we had known how many steep hills there were on the walk to the cable car we would have organised a taxi
