Things to do in Ulcinj

This trip is an absolute must if you want to see parts of Montenegro you almost certainly wouldn’t get to see on your own. The first stop at Skadar lake for the cruise was delightful the scenery and wildlife spectacular could easily of spent the whole day there. Once back in the car our driver Petar expertly drove us in a mountain road that in our hire car we would never of attempted where we stopped off for some fresh pomegranate juice with a view of the lake. After a couple more short photo stops we had lunch at a wonderfully unspoilt authentic restaurant where Petar recommended a couple of dishes which were delicious. We then visited the monastery at Cetinje before heading off back down via the serpentine road, the views of which are stunning and I am so glad a local was driving as at times there was only room for a leaf between us and the large coaches also on the road. All in all this tour was amazing from Andros the owner who was very helpful to Petar our guide who was excellent.
