Amazing experience and lucky enough we find them after 3hr driving. Roberto our Cuban guide is very friendly and very knowledgeable, certainly made the experience and took lots of photos. Very recommended
The guide, Roberto, was very responsible in ensuring our safety during the trip. He found us an exclusive spot to see the Aurora and used his professional camera to capture memorable photos for all the participants. Thermal wear was provided to keep us comfortable in the extreme cold while waiting for the northern lights. Unfortunately, on March 19, 2025, our car had a fussy participant who kept making noise and unreasonable complaints about the guide and other participants. Despite this, my family and I were very happy with Roberto’s services. Even in strong snowfall, he managed to find a spot for us to witness the amazing northern lights. We highly recommend this Small Private Group Northern Lights Tour and will definitely look for Roberto again if we return for another northern lights experience.

Meeting point
We start our tour at Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø's downtown. Meet on time. Don't forget your passport or a copy of it in case we need to cross the border. Place yourself facing the entrance of the hotel, then look to your right and locate the parking lot besides the hotel on that side. We normally park on the road along the concrete fence of that parking lot. Search for a white Ford Transit minibus. Roberto is 1.75m, brown skin and wears a dark blue thermal overall suit. He has an LED scroller app on his phone showing the word "PARADISE". If you haven't seen him at 1800 o'clock, please call him at 004793400759.

Know before you go
- The northern lights are often visible, even on cloudy, rainy, or snowy nights. You may experience a snowstorm or harsh weather during this tour. This can be new for you if you are not used to snow but it is completly normal in the Arctic. We often drive to spesific prime spots away from the bad weather and city light polution and see the northern lights. Please have in mind that this is a nature based event and no one can garantee you Northern Lights sighting. We at Paradise Northern Light are not responsible for low intensity-not visible to the naked eyes lights, short appearances, position of the lights. Please note that a refund will not be issued if Northern Lights are not seen.
- The duration of the trip is 6 hours, but please note that this duration is flexible and will entirely depends on the course of the trip: the weather conditions, the distance of the hunt and how the northern lights appear. We could return much earlier (before midnight) or much later (after midnight).
