The crew was great and very supportive. They informed us as soon as they noticed some activities in the sky and helped with the camera settings when needed, so that we could see the lights on the way back to Tromsø. One thing, some of the guests were really annoying as they focused on drinking and became louder and louder. Therefore, it was hard to understand eachother or the crew‘s instructuctions or announcements. Nevertheless, great experience !

Full description

The Aurora Dinner Cruise allows you to dine while we cruise through the waters around Tromsø. The tour allows you to take in the atmosphere and all its beauty. This tour welcomes you onboard a silent hybrid-electric catamaran with 360-degree panoramic views. The saloons are in heated and have a great level of comfort. The cruise around Tromsø island takes you past snow-covered mountains, landmarks like the Arctic cathedral, and through icy waters after the sun has set. The dinner that is served is an arctic special, comprising of a 3 course meal based on sea food. The meal can be offered as vegetarian. The arctic dinner boasts a collection of local flavours and allows you the opportunity to experience flavours of the north. Remember to email us at least 24h before if you have dietary restrictions.

Crew were fantastic; friendly, welcoming and helpful. We lucked out: after 2 overcast days the clouds parted and the Northern Lights appeared! As soon as there was a hint if the Aurora we were told and headed up on deck. First time it disappeared but next time we got a great display. Dominica was really helpful and enthusiastic and took lots of pics of our group on her phone and airdropped them to us. Magical evening! Quite pricey but this is Norway and you do get dinner and a boat cruise for your money! And yes the food portions are a bit small but it is is tasty and I’d been eating too much on this hol anyway!
