if the weather is nice and you have young family or older family members who can't travel the safari way, this is a great way to comfortably see the Nordic lights. yes, the boat won't take you far because of the speed, but the ride is comfortable and the seats are one of the best I have ever sat in. while travelling to the destination, the guides will give you clear presentation on the phenomenon and advise how to take pictures. while you wait in the warmth of the cabin (already dimmed for you to adapt for the night) the guides and crew will be actively keeping an eye for the lights. it is definitely the comfortable and luxury way to see northern lights. if you want to take great pictures however, I wouldn't suggest this, despite the calm sea and the sturdiness of the boat the boat still moves a bit and hence ending blurry night pictures. nevertheless, happy to do this again!

Very professional crew and guides. They can't guarantee you'll see the Northern Lights but it's a very comfortable way to attempt to catch a view of the lights. Warm inside the main cabinet, free tea, coffee, plenty of room on deck outside to view the scenery and ... lights if they are displaying.
