Tamborine Mountain: TreeTop Challenge Adventure Park

The TreeTop Challenge at Tamborine Mountain is Australia’s largest High Ropes Adventure Park with more than 140 TreeTop activities and 13 ziplines! Our Adventure Park is designed for the entire family aged 8 and up. You do not need any experience and it’s perfect for all fitness levels! The obstacles and ziplines are spread across 8 courses, ranging from easy through to heart-pumping extreme. You are able to work through all courses at your own pace. Jump, grab, pull and leap through the green level as you build confidence and work your way up to the super challenging black course. Our Adventure Park is fully supervised and is a self-paced tour, which means you can complete each circuit at your own speed. Your experience starts on our first 4 easy courses which are designed for everyone in the family. It’s a chance to enjoy the rainforest and build confidence in the sky. The Red and course steps it up a notch with huge ziplines, ninja games, stunning heights and opportunities to really face your fears at every turn. If you think everything to this point is easy peasy lemon squeezy, wait for the final Black circuit. This is our most challenging course in Tamborine Mountain! We’ve designed these super challenges for ages 14+. They will absolutely push you beyond your comfort zone. To complete our Adventure Park, abs are not necessary, but some fitness is required to complete the course as you do need the strength to climb through the trees. It takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete a circuit, and 2.5 to 3.5 hours to complete the entire park. We use the highest grade safety equipment and our state-of-the-art smart belay system will keep you attached to the wires at all times.

So much fun being up in the nature of the trees! Was definitely a test of physical strength on some parts. The ziplines were awesome, although we ended up getting stuck behind a poor girl who got too scared to go on her third one and just wouldn't fly over. Was the only downfall to the whole experience, as we were stuck there for at least half an hour before a guide came to take her off the course so the rest of us could continue. We ended up running out of time to be able to look around the park a whole lot by the end of it.

That it was challenging and the last 2 zip lines over the croc pond (even though we didn’t see any crocs only kangaroos below) were a nice treat after all the effort put into the rest of the courses. We all definitely found some muscles we had forgotten we had though haha.
