I had an amazing day! While Fuji 5th station was inaccessible due to heavy snow, the tour more than made up for it by stopping at a beautiful village for an hour, where we had picturesque views of Mt Fuji peaking from behind some cherry blossom (warning - we were so so lucky! Mt Fuji is normally at least partially covered in cloud, frequently completely covered.) and saw some wonderful traditional Japanese thatch buildings (not normal for this tour but it was a good replacement activity). The lake was beautiful and we had amazing views of Fuji from the boat. While the cable car queue was long, it wasn't terrible, and the mountain view was definitely worth it! Our tour guide was also so friendly and helpful. She gave us some information on sites we passed by on the bus in Tokyo and pointed out any good views of Fuji along the way. She also very kindly helped me find a drinks vending machine while we were waiting for the cable car. Her English was also very good. Can 100% recommend her!
Fantastic packed day trip! Our guide was wonderful and kind and organised. the coach was extremely comfortable and good for a snooze. Cable car was excellent fun and the kids enjoyed it a lot.

Full description
We'll make a stop at Fuji Q Highland around lunch time, where you can enjoy either a buffet style lunch or light fare of bread and drinks, depending on the option you select.
At Kawaguchiko, your tour guide will hand you your tickets for the ropeway, cable car, and sightseeing cruise, giving you the freedom to explore the area on your own.
Head to the Panoromic Ropeway cable car! The cable car is connected to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,075 meters - you can reach the top in just 3 minutes! From the observation deck, in addition to overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, you also enjoy a superb view of Mount Fuji and the Southern Japanese Alps.
If you make your way down the mountain, you can enjoy the Lake Kawaguchiko boat excursion. Set sail from Appare Pier and cruise under the Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge to swing by Unoshima, the only island in the Fuji Five Lakes.
After your day full of sightseeing and nature, enjoy a comfortable ride back to Tokyo.
**If the 5th Station is unreachable due to safety reasons, we will pivot to Oshino Hakkai, an idyllic town with great views of Mt. Fuji and eight lakes formed from Fuji's pristine spring water.

The meeting time is at 7:30 AM at the Toranomon Hills Business Tower Bus Terminal 1. Look for the LIMON staff member wearing yellow holding a sign. The bus will promptly leave at 7:40 AM. Please arrive to the station with plenty of leeway to ensure you do not miss the bus, as it will not wait for late arrivals. - Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
- If the Ropeway or Boat cannot be boarded due to strong winds, etc., you will be taken to alternative facilities around the Lake Kawaguchi Area.
- The schedule is subject to change due to traffic or weather conditions for safety.
- If Mt. Fuji 5th station is closed or impassable, the course will be changed to Oshino Hakkai.
