An excellent experience Mt Fuji was amazing and just traveling around without waiting on a bus was wonderful! Our guide was very friendly with great conversation and we had a great day!
Overall we were super satisfied. We visited 4 places in one day: Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchi and the 5th station of Mount Fuji, there was also a stop at a highway rest area. The planified itinerary also included going to Oshino Hakkai and taking a cable car ride but there were way too many people. I think the itinerary presented on Get your Guide is too optimistic to do it all in one day. The driver was friendly. Small downside for the car, we were tight as quite big European adults. But we were so impressed all day long that it was a secondary problem. We were free for activities on site. As a group of 4, we paid 120 EUR per person. For a day, with a private driver, who picks us up from our hotel and brings us back, it's quite interesting.

Meet your driver in Tokyo and head out into the countryside. As you drive to Mt. Fuji, enjoy picturesque views of this iconic mountain looming over the land. Talk with your driver and decide if you want to admire Mt. Fuji from the ground or would prefer to climb to the summit.
Next, head to Hakone, a peaceful town in Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Relax in the hot springs, take a boat ride on Lake Ashi, or enjoy a scenic cable car ride (not included). Under the shadow of Mt. Fuji, experience traditional Japanese culture, sample local cuisine, and browse for souvenirs.
