I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. Gabor (I hope I am spelling correctly) was an excellent host and guide. He provided information on the wine making process without being overly scientific. The wine tastings were excellent and the cheese plate was a great accompaniment. The views from the vineyard were amazing. The included bottle of wine was a nice touch. It was a fun afternoon and exactly what I was looking towards.

Full description

Enjoy the convenience of being picked up at your hotel in either Tokaj, Tarcal or Bodrogkeresztúr. Arrive at the Hímesudvar Wine Estate and meet the Hímesudvar team as they welcome you to the winery. Take a stroll through the vineyard. Learn about the history of the Tokaj, as well as the local terroir, and how the winemaker creates exquisite wines while harmonizing with nature.

Take in scenic views of Tokaj’s landscape and the Bodrog river. Chill out, embrace the moment and sample 7 different wines ranging from dry to sweet, including the sweetest wine in the world, the Tokaj Eszencia. Along with your wines, snack on cheese, bread and olives. After your tasting, you’ll be dropped off at either your accommodations or the train station.
