Head for Durres to visit its impressive Roman amphitheater and 6th-century Venetian Tower before continuing to Berat to explore its 13th-century castle, picturesque old quarters, Mangalemi and Gorica.

Next, visit the three neighborhoods of Berat, Mangalemi, Gorica, and Castle. Walk to the most beautiful spot in the castle, visit the churches. Finally, visit the National Iconographic Museum Onufri (entry not included), which honors the many Albanian master painters of the 16th century, specifically Onufri, who is responsible for a rich legacy of iconography in the country.
Depart for Tirana driving from the inland road, not cost road, and make a short photo stop in Belshi Lake.

AMAZING! Worth every cent! There were 10 people in the van. Pick-up went smoothly and on time. First we went to Durrës, did walking tour and were told historic facts about the city. Afterwards, guide gave us 1 hour of free time. After that we visited old town Berat. Again, after having done a walking tour we were given almost 90 minutes to explore it on our own. Then we ascended to Berat Castle, which is unbelieveable medieval place: the only castle in Europe (maybe even world) where ordinary people live, have their homes, churches, shops etc. We spent here cca 90 minutes. On our way back we made a stop at artificial Belshi Lake just to have a coffee. Trip took almost 12 hours. Great experience. Don’t hesitate to book! Our guide was fantastic and very friendly.
