Hop aboard a comfortable traditional boat to depart from La Spezia or Porto Venere and admire the beautiful pastel-colored houses along the way. Sail between a few islands, including Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. Then, head north and skirt the Church of San Pietro to admire Lord Byron's Grotto, a rocky cove named after the poet. Next, admire the huge rocky cliffs along the coast. Afterwards, hop back on the boat and admire Riomaggiore, a beautiful and ancient fishing village famous for its tower houses. Continuing, you will pass through Manarola and Corniglia, then stop for about 40 minutes in the bay of Guvano where you can snorkel among the fish and admire the crystal clear sea of the Cinque Terre natural park. Around 1:30 pm Once you arrive in Monterosso al Mare, you can decide to get off for 1,30 h the boat to take a tour of the town, eat a sandwich or an ice cream or you can stay on the boat to sunbathe and swim. However, we won't leave you hungry, we serve Ligurian focaccia and other local food on board.We then reach Vernazza where you can take another swim and then returning to La Spezia in the center of the 5 lands in the middle of the sea, take a bath in the large blue where you can admire the 5 lands in their extension. the tour starts from the Mirabello port of La Spezia 10 minutes from the cruise terminal, the meeting point is inside the parking lot of the gas station. Once on our typical Ligurian boat we will leave towards Fezzano to continue towards Cadimare, Le Grazie and admire its enchanting position and tell a little history of the Gulf of Poets, after which we will head towards Portovenere we will make the first stop to swim and do some snorkeling we will see the island Palmaria an island of Portovenere then we will visit the other 2 islands from the sea we will make a second stop to swim, all this accompanied by a little prosecco and some snacks. if the water is still too cold to swim we will go down to Portovenere for about 30 minutes. Departure at 10 a.m. from Porto Mirabello, La Spezia, near the gas station. The boat (10 metres) and the captain will be there waiting for you. You will sail along the borgate marinare, i.e. the small villages on the coast between La Spezia and Portovenere. You will see Torre Scola, an old military fortress built on a rock in the middle of the sea. We will pass through the archipelago consisting of the three islands, Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, which are still unspoilt places, until we reach the romantic Portovenere. Here you can choose whether to go ashore for a short visit to the town and the famous church of San Pietro, overlooking the sea, or stay on the boat and dive into the turquoise waters between Palmaria Island and the village of Portovenere. Continuing the tour, we will have time to approach the world-famous Grotta Byron, the red rocks and swim in beautiful hidden coves, in the crystal-clear waters of Monesteroli or under the natural waterfall of Canneto. From here we will enter the 5 terre marine protected area. We will sail past the 5 villages (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso), you will have plenty of time to take your photos, listen to interesting stories and explanations from your captain and take another dip. During this tour there is also the possibility to go ashore and visit the villages of Vernazza or Monterosso. If you are lucky, you will be able to see the dolphins that habitually swim near our shores. The tour will end at 6 p.m. at the place of departure.

Along the way, you'll see Stella Maris, a statue of the Virgin Mary standing as a guardian over a submerged reef, as well as the famous Blue Grotto, a sea cave known for its mesmerizing turquoise waters, which can be admired from the outside. As we approach Portovenere, you’ll witness the legendary Byron’s Grotto, where poet Lord Byron is said to have swum across the bay to Lerici. We then sail through Le Bocche, the narrow strait separating Palmaria Island from the picturesque village of Portovenere. Upon arrival in Portovenere, the Unesco World Heritage Site, you’ll have free time to explore its colorful harbor, historic alleys, and iconic landmarks. *If you are not interested in visiting the village, you can ask the captain to stop at Punta Secco on Palmaria Island, where you can relax at Gabbiano Beach. After your stopover, we’ll welcome you back on board for a relaxing return to La Spezia, passing through the Mussel Farms and leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Gulf of Poets.

Here, we will admire the spectacular scenery of the area and listen to fascinating stories about it. Once we have paid our respects to the statue of Stella Maris, the patron saint of sailors, we will head to the nearby village of Portovenere where we will step ashore. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore its characteristic narrow streets, the famous Grotta Byron and the charming church of San Pietro. Once the visit is over, we will get back on the boat to swim in the crystal-clear waters of Palmaria Island. Refreshed by the swim, we will head to the opposite coast of the Gulf, where the villages of Tellaro, Fiascherino and Lerici are located. Here we will discover the legend of the octopus of Tellaro and make another stop to swim in one of the hidden coves of Fiascherino. Before ending the tour we will stop for about 45 minutes in Lerici, to stroll around the village streets and enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf while tasting a delicious local ice cream. Finally we will return to Porto Mirabello in La Spezia lulled by the waves, the music and the memories of the unforgettable experiences.
