On this fun-filled half-day tour of Tigre and Buenos Aires, embark on an adventure that offers the perfect balance between nature and history. After pick up at your hotel we will drive to the northern áreas of Buenos Aires. You can choose between 2-hour navigation where you will depart from Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires so you can admire the views of the city from the Rio de La Plata and then continue through the Tigre Delta this way we will get closer to the nature-packed filled with flora and fauna or 1-hour boat ride where we will have a sight of the Tigre Delta, the boat ride continues through a series of narrow channels and islands, through the rivers San Antonio, Angostura, Lujan, Carapachay and Espera; a popular weekend getaway for residents of Buenos Aires and an everyday home to thousands of islanders, Experience the majestic scenery that’s very different from anything you have seen before while learning all about the locals who live along the peaceful channels with boats as their only means of transportation. At lunchtime, the boat will drop you off at Tigre, a major city within the Buenos Aires suburbs. You can choose to enjoy an authentic snack including empanadas (local pasties) and drinks at a historical venue that belongs to the Italian Rowing Club of Tigre City. For the rest of the tour, hop on board a vehicle and drive through the northern suburbs of Buenos Aires to get an overview of what life is like in the outskirts of Argentina’s capital city, home to about 25% of the total population of the country. Along the ride, visit several sites, including the fruit market, afterward, we will tour Victorica Avenue, the coastal walk, that borders the Luján River to reach the elegant gardens surrounding the headquarters of the Tigre Deliberative Council and the Tigre Art Museum. Once the trip is over, get driven back to Buenos Aires. You can be dropped off somewhere on the way to keep exploring the city or taken back to your hotel. Your boat tour departs from the Tigre fluvial station. You will cruise for a full hour along the rivers of Luján, Carapachay, Angostura, Sarmiento, and Espera, where the Delta Tierra reserve is located.  Take in the panoramic views of the Delta while the loudspeaker audioguide tells you all about the region and its many unique characteristics. You will enjoy one of the favorite places of many Argentine families and observing the unique lifestyle of the locals who live on the river delta.

Explore the northern part of the Province of Buenos Aires where the small city of Tigre is located. Get picked up from your accommodation in downtown Buenos Aires and go on a scenic boat ride along the Tigre River. Take in views of the small streams that branch off and the numerous islands of the delta. Get a glimpse of the typical islander lifestyle as you pass houses, schools, and churches. From the minibus, see the Paseo Victorica, the Museo del Mate, and the Naval Museum. Take in a beautiful view of the Tigre Art Museum, an elegant building from the end of the 19th century. Then head to the Puerto de Frutos area where you will have free time to explore the many shops and museums.

Get on board and enjoy while the captain takes you through the waters of the Río de La Plata on your 1:50 hour ride. After passing through the neighborhoods of Núñez, Olivos, Martínez and San Isidro, the boat will enter the first section of the Paraná Delta along the San Antonio River. The skyscrapers of Buenos Aires will be replaced by small houses on the water's edge and boats will become the only means of transportation in the region. Around 12:00 p.m. You will arrive at the Tigre River Station. The city of Tigre will welcome you to enjoy walks to the Puerto de Frustos, Museum of Art, Parque de la Costa among other attractions. You can also have lunch in one of the restaurants overlooking the River. If you purchase the round trip option, make sure you are back at the River Station by 3:45 p.m., as the return boat leaves at 4:00 p.m.

It will be accessed by visiting the North Zone, with its residential neighborhoods of Olivos, La Lucila, Martinez and San Isidro, where the magnificent Neo-Gothic Cathedral, a National Historic Monument from the early 20th century, stands out. We will navigate the main 5 rivers that make up the Lower Delta, where its imposing beauty is dyed in ocher and green. The flowers will captivate us with their aroma and together with the particular color of the water they will take us on a walk through our senses. During the tour, we will be able to observe, Canals outlined by nature, the traditional rowing clubs, the Deliberative Council, the Tigre Art Museum (former "Tigre Hotel"), the Sarmiento Museum, the life of the islanders with their houses, school and church.

On the Delta Premium we board in Puerto Madero and take a coastal tour of the Río de la Plata in which we sail to the Paraná Delta, it lasts approximately 2 hours one way. We will also navigate small internal rivers, discovering the typical life of the islanders and their customs. After sailing, upon arriving in Tigre, you will have time to visit important points of the city, have lunch or do some shopping, until your return time. Please note that the boarding time for the return to the city of Buenos Aires is at 4:00 p.m. and the navigation time is also approximately 2 hours. In case of strong weather or if the weather does not allow the navigation, it will be rescheduled for another day or the reservation amount will be refunded.

The Park is a perfect and fun escape from the city because it is nearby, it is an option for adults and children that you cannot miss on your visit to Buenos Aires. The full passport includes games such as four roller coasters, the tallest being the Boomerang, which reaches a height of 37.5 meters and a speed of 75 km/h, apart from El Desafío, the roller coaster with five types of inversions on your route. El Salto Delta is one of the most popular for being an aquatic roller coaster and El Vigía, which is familiar, is themed around mountains, rivers and waterfalls. It also has mechanical games and shows. Tickets will be sent to you via email or WhatsApp 24 hours before the activity. The park closes on rainy days.
