Around 7:40am, get picked up from your central hotels or meet at a designated meeting point then head to the Mekong Delta. Pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. The first stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda. Explore and admire the unique architecture of this historic site, which features a blend of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese influences.  Continue your trip to My Tho and take a boat cruise along the Mekong River where you can escape the busy town. We will pass by the Tortoise islet and the Dragon, Phoenix, and arrive at Unicorn Islet. This journey takes you through tranquil fruit orchards, and rustic villages where you can observe the daily lives of locals. Enjoy a sampan ride through the coconut trees-lined canals. Disembark and explore the village on foot. Visit local families where you can enjoy fruits, honey tea and wine while listening to traditional music performed by the villagers. After that, enjoy a local lunch (vegan food available) Continue your trip to cruise to Ben Tre province - the land of coconuts where you can tour a coconut farm and witness the process of making coconut candy, rice paper, and other coconut-based products. After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village. As the sun sets, travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 5:00pm.

After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. Crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available). After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of Mekong Delta. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and arrive approximately at 7:00pm.

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the evening and be taken back to your accommodation.

Enjoy an unforgettable 2-hour drive to the Mekong Delta along the provincial roads down in the Southern region of Vietnam. Pass rice paddies, pineapple plantations, orchards, and small hamlets.  You'll arrive in My Tho at approximately 10:00 AM where you will ride on a local motorboat past Dragon Island, Phoenix Island, and Turtle Island. Stop at the famous Unicorn Island to visit a natural beekeeping farm, and taste honey wine, rice wine, and banana wine. Then take a walk through the village and row along the coconut canal to see daily local life in the Mekong Delta. Continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motor boat and travel along the lush, green canals, stopping at local Vietnamese restaurant for some traditional food. Later on, enjoy various types of tropical fruits at the orchard garden and listen to traditional music. At the end of the tour, a local boat will take you back to My Tho. From there a bus will drive you back to Ho Chi Minh city, arriving at around 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM.

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO Around 7:45am. Get picked up at your centrally located hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. Free time to explore the city at night. ------------ DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - HO CHI MINH CITY Start early at around 6:00AM to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market. The market is most vibrant in the early hours of the morning. Witness the hustle and bustle of boats selling fruits, vegetables, and various local products. Continue your boat tour to visit a Rice Noodle Factory. Here, you can witness the traditional process of making rice noodles. We'll also take some time to explore a bustling local market, where colorful stalls are brimming with fresh produce, spices, and vegetables. Around 9:00AM to 9:30AM: Return to your hotel for check-out, enjoy breakfast and freshening up after the morning's activities. After that, begin your journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. En route, make a stop at the 10 Vo ancient house. Learn about its architectural details, and gain insights into local traditions and customs. Try your hand at making traditional Vietnamese pancakes, known as "bánh xèo.". Enjoy a delicious local lunch. If you have the energy, take a leisurely bike ride around the area, exploring the picturesque surroundings and interacting with the local community. This special full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two major attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:35AM. Once we arrive in Can Gio, prepare yourself for a day packed with exciting and memorable experiences: Monkey Island: Step onto this charming island, home to over 1,000 mischievous monkeys in their natural habitat. It’s the perfect place to interact with these playful creatures and snap some unforgettable photos. Hoa Ca Crocodile Reserve: Next, we head to the Hoa Ca Crocodile Reserve, where you’ll have the rare chance to observe these magnificent reptiles up close. For wildlife enthusiasts, this stop is an absolute must. Rung Sac Revolutionary Base: Immerse yourself in history with a 25-minute trek through the cool shade of the mangrove forest, leading to the Rung Sac Revolutionary Base. This site holds significant historical value, as it was a strategic location for the brave soldiers of the 10th Special Forces during the war. Explore the bunkers, kitchens, and medical huts, and learn about their heroic efforts. Alternatively, you can choose to take a 10-minute canoe ride to the base ( Please note the canoe fee is not included in the tour). 01:00 - 01:30 PM: After your explorations, we’ll stop for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, where you’ll taste the rich and diverse flavors of Southern Vietnamese cuisine. In the afternoon, the journey continues with more local experiences: Seafood Market: Next, we’ll visit the vibrant seafood market, where you can sample freshly caught seafood directly from the local waters. It’s also the perfect opportunity to pick up some delicious seafood to take home, bringing a piece of Can Gio with you. After our visit to the market, we’ll board the bus and head back to Saigon. 4:30 - 5:00 PM: We’ll arrive back in the heart of the city, marking the end of a wonderful and action-packed day.
